What To Expect
What To Expect

Are you wondering what to expect during your first time visit?

What Do I Wear?
Clothes. That's our only request! We're more concerned about the person on the inside rather than the image on the outside. Whatever you want to wear is great. Our staff and regular attendees will often wear casual attire and jeans.

Will It Be Interesting?
We believe so - deeply. We intentionally design each service to be relevant, engaging, and genuinely meaningful - the way Jesus taught. We believe you will be challenged intellectually and, most importantly, changed spiritually. It's how we've seen God work among us time and time again in our community and within our own church body.

Will I be Asked to Give Money?
Nope, during the offering we actually encourage all of our first-time guests not to give. You are our guest - so please - relax, make yourself at home and just enjoy the service. The offerings we receive are from those who call New Milford First Assembly their home.

How long does the service last/What is a typical Sunday?
Our church service usually lasts about an hour and a half. We start out with singing some songs, following along either from the hymn book or with the words projected by Power Point. Afterwards, we will pray for the various needs that the congregation members identify. Followed by our weekly offering which is received just before pastor preaches his message. Many people follow along in their bibles; not to worry if you do not have one, bibles are available in every row of pews.
