Are you wondering what to expect during your first time visit?
What Do I Wear?
Clothes. That's our only request! We're more concerned about the person on the inside rather than the image on the outside. Whatever you want to wear is great. Our staff and regular attendees will often wear casual attire and jeans.
Will It Be Interesting?
We believe so - deeply. We intentionally design each service to be relevant, engaging, and genuinely meaningful - the way Jesus taught. We believe you will be challenged intellectually and, most importantly, changed spiritually. It's how we've seen God work among us time and time again in our community and within our own church body.
Will I be Asked to Give Money?
Nope, during the offering we actually encourage all of our first-time guests not to give. You are our guest - so please - relax, make yourself at home and just enjoy the service. The offerings we receive are from those who call New Milford First Assembly their home.
How long does the service last/What is a typical Sunday?
Our church service starts at 10:30 AM and will go to around noon. We start out with singing some songs with our live worship band, followed by announcements, and prayer. Afterwards, Pastor David Siwek will address the congregation with his message via Power Point. The service ends with prayer and some light follow up music as guests depart.
